Hmm..

1836hrs: You'd think that if your girlfriend found out you're sick, she'll ask if you're alright and perhaps show a little concern. Nopes...not mine. She immediately blames you for being sick and starts nagging at you. Ignoring the fact that you're having a mind-numbing headache and everything around seems to be swaying from side to side. Can't believe she's angry with me for being sick. I forgot, I don't work as hard as she does. So my rights to being sick are forfeited. Forgive me for having a splitting headache the entire day. I deserve to die cause of it.

Thanks dear...love you too.

Youch!

1857hrs: Often enough I walk without paying attention to what's ahead of me and this happens...

Image hosting by Photobucket

And I end up hurting like hell. This is the end result of walking directly into the sharp corner of a table. Yes it is purple and yes it hurts. I pay dearly for my clumsiness.

IC = I Die

2225hrs: Well, it's been a GREAT week in camp. Getting screwed by the OC(Officer in Command) for doing my job, having the CSM take pot shots at me and being lack of sleep. Oh and today was no exception. The shit hit the fan this morning when the CSM questioned the clerks why there wasn't an incident report form available after office hours. Of course during the chewing out session, he gave me most of his attention even though the guy in charge of the clerk section is standing right next to me. I'm again left in awe of the power of politics. If you play it well, you get a shield around you and if you don't? You end up like me. Always there for the grinder. Oh and since the guy in charge of the clerk section is leaving in April, I've been told I'll be taking his place. No....this isn't something to celebrate. Being put in charge of the Admin Dept in the army is a big no no. Actually being put in any position where you're the IC of anything in the army is bad. Where in the civil sector you get canned for screwing up, in the army you either get court martialed or you get your weekends burnt doing guard duty. And neither is appealing to me.

Now I'm in that place. IC of admin section. Which means from here on out, anything goes wrong, my head will roll. I don't want this responsibility. But I had no say in the matter. It's exactly 3 fucking months to my ORD date and all I wanna do is to leave quietly. Now I can't. I've got added stress and now the guy who's leaving in April is a non-entity. He's devoid of any responsibilities from today onwards even though he's leaving at the end of April. Which isn't fair is it? If things he screwed up comes to light while I'm IC, I get punished. FUCK!

Funny thing, the CSM waited till after I signed the handing over documents(which dictate that I'm now officially IC of Admin section) before threatening me. He wants me to get the Incident Report forms done tomorrow or else. And he told me that at 1730hrs, fall-out time. He had all day to go after the previous guy in charge but no. Oh, he also said that if anything screws up in clerk section, he won't hesitate to come after me. Since I signed the papers, every fucking thing is MY FAULT! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! FUCK! I FUCKING HATE THIS SHIT!

I'm starting to lose my temper in camp. I wanted so much to question him why he didn't go after the previous guy instead. But the backlash from that might be more than I can bear. It sucks. Life sucks. I wanna die.

My baby never looks good in blue

0001hrs: If I had to choose a 1 minute clip of the happiest moments in my life, I would use those 60 seconds screening the weekend I've just had. I had a wonderful time with my baby over the last 2 days.

Friday was spent having her over at my place lazing about till evening. I left her to read the papers after letting her in and dozed off. Was dreaming about her(Yes, I really was!) till I felt something on my shoulder and woke up to see her head on it. Waking up to the smell of her hair is something I could never get enough of. A smile just naturally forms the moment I catch a whiff of it.

Edit: This has kinda lost it's meaning. Was working on it then the com died and I never managed to finish it. @ 3 April 2006, 1329hrs.

Ride Ma Bomb Baby!

2237hrs: Image hosting by Photobucket Mind you she's sitting on a 2000lb MK-84 Low Drag General Purpose Bomb(LDGP) packed with 945lbs of Tritonal Explosive. But you gotta agree she looks smokin' sitting on it. *pants*

Saw this story on mrbrown and then on ARC again and decided to post it here. Read on!

Remember the book "Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus"? Well, here's a prime example offered by an English professor at an American University.

"Today we will experiment with a new form called the tandem story. The process is simple. Each person will pair off with the person sitting to his or her immediate right. One of you will then write the first paragraph of a short story. The partner will read the first paragraph and then add another paragraph to the story. The first person will then add a third paragraph, and so on back and forth. Remember to reread what has been written each time in order to keep the story coherent. There is to be absolutely NO talking and anything you wish to say must be written on the paper. The story is over when both agree a conclusion has been reached."

The following was actually turned in by two of my English students:

Rebecca and Gary - last names deleted.

STORY:

(First paragraph by Rebecca)

At first, Laurie couldn't decide which kind of tea she wanted. The chamomile, which used to be her favorite for lazy evenings at home, now reminded her too much of Carl, who once said, in happier times, that he liked chamomile. But she felt she must now, at all costs, keep her mind off Carl. His possessiveness was suffocating, and if she thought about him too much her asthma started acting up again. So chamomile was out of the question.

(Second paragraph by Gary)

Meanwhile, Advance Sergeant Carl Harris, leader of the attack squadron now in orbit over Skylon 4, had more important things to think about than the neuroses of an air-headed asthmatic bimbo named Laurie with whom he had spent one sweaty night over a year ago. "A.S. Harris to Geostation 17, he said into his transgalactic communicator. "Polar orbit established. No sign of resistance so far..." But before he could sign off, a bluish particle beam flashed out of nowhere and blasted a hole through his ship's cargo bay. The jolt from the direct hit sent him flying out of his seat and across the cockpit.

(Rebecca)

He bumped his head and died almost immediately but not before he felt one last pang of regret for psychically brutalizing the one woman who had ever had feelings for him. Soon afterwards, Earth stopped its pointless hostilities towards the peaceful farmers of Skylon 4. "Congress Passes Law Permanently Abolishing War and Space Travel," Laurie read in her newspaper one morning. The news simultaneously excited her and bored her. She stared out the window, dreaming of her youth, when the days had passed unhurriedly and carefree, with no newspapers to read, no television to distract her from her sense of innocent wonder at all the beautiful things around her. "Why must one lose one's innocence to become a woman?" she pondered wistfully.

(Gary)

Little did she know, but she had less than 10 seconds to live. Thousands of miles above the city, the Anu'udrian mothership launched the first of its lithium fusion missiles. The dim-witted wimpy peaceniks who pushed the Unilateral Aerospace Disarmament Treaty through the congress had left earth a defenseless target for the hostile alien empires who were determined to destroy the human race. Within two hours after the passage of the treaty the Anu'udrian ships were on course for Earth, carrying enough firepower to pulverize the entire planet. With no one to stop them, they swiftly initiated their diabolical plan. The lithium fusion missile entered the atmosphere unimpeded. The President in his top-secret Mobile submarine headquarters on the ocean floor off the coast of Guam, felt the inconceivably massive explosion, which vaporized poor, stupid, Laurie and 85 million other Americans. The President slammed his fist on the conference table. "We can't allow this! I'm going to veto that treaty! Let's blow 'em out of the sky!"

(Rebecca)

This is absurd. I refuse to continue this mockery of literature. My writing partner is a violent, chauvinistic semi-literate adolescent.

(Gary)

Yeah? Well, you're a self-centered tedious neurotic whose attempts at writing are the literary equivalent of Valium. "Oh shall I have chamomile tea? Or shall I have some other sort of F*CKING TEA??? Oh no, I'm such an air headed bimbo who reads too many Danielle Steele novels... I can't decide."

(Rebecca)

Asshole.

(Gary)

Bitch.

(Rebecca)

Wanker.

(Gary)

Slut.

(Rebecca)

Get fucked.

(Gary)

Eat shit.

(Rebecca)

FUCK YOU - YOU NEANDERTHAL!!!

(Gary)

Go drink some tea - whore.

(Teacher)

A+ - I really liked this one!

PS: This is the second time I've seen this and it still cracks me up good. *laughs*
